Step back in time and dive into summer at Peterborough Lido – a jewel of 1930s design nestled in the heart of the city. This beautifully preserved open-air swimming pool is one of the few remaining lidos in the UK still operating in its original Art Deco glory.

Surrounded by tree-lined gardens and sunbathing lawns, the Lido offers a tranquil escape from the buzz of the city centre. Whether you’re swimming lengths in the heated 50-metre main pool, paddling with toddlers in the splash pool, or simply lounging with an ice cream, the Lido delivers old-school charm with a modern twist.

Open during the warmer months, it’s a beloved summer haven for locals and visitors alike – perfect for families, fitness lovers, and heritage enthusiasts. On sunny days, expect a lively community atmosphere and the nostalgic scent of chlorine and sunscreen on the breeze.
